John A. Lanoue

Mr. Lanoue joined the firm in May of 2010. Prior to joining the firm Mr. Lanoue was most recently an associate at a Chicago-area insurance defense firm for five years where his practice focused on the defense of personal injury cases. Before attending law school, Mr. Lanoue worked in the personal lines insurance industry where his experiences included work in both claims and underwriting capacities.

Mr. Lanoue concentrates his practice in the area of insurance defense litigation. He has tried more than 25 personal injury jury cases to verdict in a number of counties in both Illinois and Indiana. Mr. Lanoue has arbitrated more than 100 personal injury cases and has completed hundreds of physician and party depositions. He has also served as an arbitrator in tripartite arbitration proceedings.


Mr. Lanoue graduated in 1989 from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Finance. He received his J.D. in 2001 from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Mr. Lanoue was admitted to the Illinois Bar and the Indiana Bar in 2006.
