Jacob R. Coz | Attorney
Jacob graduated from American University’s Pre-Law Program in 2015 and graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2019. Prior to joining Sudekum, Cassidy & Shulruff, Jacob clerked for an insurance subrogation firm where he assisted with subrogation and product liability matters throughout the United States in both State and Federal Courts. Jacob has co-authored multiple journal articles including “Navigating the Anti-Subrogation Rule” and “Use of Aftermarket (Non-OEM) Crash Parts in Repair of Damaged Vehicles” which was named one of the Claims Journal’s Top 10 articles of 2017.
When not working or attending class, Jacob volunteered at the U-Visa Project, assisting victims of domestic violence attain permanent legal status so they could assist in the prosecution of their abusers without risk of deportation.
Outside of work, Jacob enjoys reading history books, watching his hometown Boston Bruins, and spending time with his wife and their many pets.
